The Solomon Islands Postal Corporation was established by ACT of Parliament through powers vested to the Corporation by the Solomon Islands Postal Corporation Act 1996. The functions of the Corporation shall be to: Provide Postal Services within Solomon Islands and other countries, to carry on any business or activity relating to Postal Services, and to carry on business or activity which is incidental to postal services. The Corporation is governed by the Board of Directors upon which the Executive is reporting to. The Chief Executive Officer has two Deputies representing the two major divisions. The two Deputies must ensure daily operation of both divisions are achieved and reported to the executive.
